Leadership Training for Student Leaders
Last October 25-26, 2012, Grades 3-6 class and club presidents and Barangayette officers attended an in-house leadership training, which was facilitated by Student Formation Coordinator Mrs. Maria Concepcion Domeyeg and Student Activities Coordinator Miss Rosemarie Ebio.

It was on September 8, 2012 when the varsities of different kinds of sports congregated for the Marikina Private Schools Athletic Association 2012 Opening Ceremony held at the Marikina Sports Park.

Share a Rosary
It has been the tradition to dedicate the month of October for celebrating the Holy Rosary. This is in line with the celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of the Holy Rosary every October 7.

English Month Celebration
In November of 2012, different kinds of activities were prepared by the English teachers for everyone to enjoy as English Month was celebrated at SSAM with the theme “Promoting Benedictine Culture through Effective Use of English in Communication.”

Happy Teacher’s Day!
December 14, 2012 was a very festive day at SSAM. It was Teacher’s Day, a day when we give our utmost gratitude to our teachers for all their sacrifices and efforts.

DACSA Family Day 2012 at SSAM
Last December 7, 2012, SSAM opened its gates to 30 schools as it hosted the celebration of the Diocese of Antipolo Catholic Schools Association (DACSA) with the theme “DACSA through the Years: Rekindling Faith, Embracing Mission.

Don’t Be Plastic!
Recently, Marikina and Quezon City have passed ordinances banning the use of plastic bags to pack purchased items in all commercial establishments. The expressed goal of these measures is to help lessen the occurrence of floods.

A Meaningful Visit
Every year, selected Grade 4 pupils get the chance to interact with People with Disabilities or PWDs in Tahanang Walang Hagdanan. Tahanan is a rehabilitation and skills training center where orthopedically challenged individuals are trained to be independent members of the society.

Barangayette’ s Bote Dyaryo Drive
Last August 17, 2012, the Barangayette launched the annual Bote Dyaryo Drive through the PA system with the goal of donating old newspapers and medicine bottles to the Tuason Community Center Foundation, Inc. (Tuason Center) for the medicines produced there.

A Million Roses for the World
