     Best Feature of the Clinic

1. Presence of a direct TELEPHONE LINES specifically for clinic use.  It is so convenient for the health staff to contact parents or guardians of sick students who needs to go home or to be fetched from school, as well as to confirm directly from parents medical complaints of students that need further verification.

2. Use of GREEN CARD as part of each student's school health record is also helpful tool for evaluating student's complaint/s oftentimes related to problems at home either from siblings, parents or school work.  Frequent complaints from students as recorded in their green cards are monitored and evaluated accordingly, hence proper intervention is being done.  Referral to guidance counselor/s is being initiated, at times when the clinic staff consider it necessary and favorable for the students.

3. FIL-ANTHROP software is being used in our clinic for data processing of individual height and weight measurement s obtained during physical examination of our students.  Automatic assessment via FIL-ANTHROP software makes use of a computer unit which is readily available in the clinic.

4. HOT AND COLD Water Dispenser is available in our clinic.  Hot water is normally used for cases of dysmenorrhea in the form of hot compress/hot water bag, and also for the warm saline gargles for sore throats.  Water source is from an electric water purifier, so there is no need for buying mineral water from water store.

5. AUTOCLAVE - this is being used for the sterilization of dental mouth mirrors used during dental examination.  It makes use of the principle of heat under pressure - Presurized Steam.

6. NEBULIZER equipment as well as OXYGEN TANKS with gauge are available  for mild cases of asthmatic attacks.  Known cases of asthma among our students could avail of the nebulizer in the clinic, provided there is a written consent and prescription from their family doctor.

7. ADULT and PEDIATRIC CUFF is available for our blood pressure monitoring; both for adults and pediatric cases.  OTOSCOPE - used for ear examination, likewise available in the clinic.  These medical equipments are all special and beneficial.

8. WHEELCHAIRS (2) and WALKERS are now available in our clinic aside from the stretchers we previously had for transporting students to the clinic as in cases of sprain, fainting, menstrual cramps, etc. either from the classroom or from the playground.  These wheelchairs are donated to the clinic through our directress.
