Senior High School Department
SSAM Senior High School Department seeks the integral formation of the human person through the development of their God-given capacities to their optimum level. Thus, SSAM enables the Scholastican graduate to perseveringly strive toward her ultimate goal — Christ — as they fulfill their responsibility to themselves, their family, and society.
Every graduate of St. Scholastica's Academy of Marikina Senior High School is expected to
- utilize their acquired knowledge, perspective, and skills in navigating the challenges of his/her education and adult life in the context of a globalized and technologized society.
- speak their own voice, confident in his/her unique identity and upbringing anchored on life-affirming Benedictine values and a well-formed and discerning conscience.
- see the good in all persons and affirm their dignity as human beings bearing the image and likeness of God by respecting diversity and by practicing inclusiveness in all situations:
- take part proactively in the collective aspiration for social justice and equity by engaging in meaningful professions, careers, social involvements, and advocacies that benefit the disadvantaged, the underserved, and the powerless;
- show resolute love of their country by consistently exercising their duties as a citizen, appreciating Filipino culture, arts, and history. and purposefully contributing to nation-building, economic progress, and social development
- cultivate a mind and heart for the earth as home for life in all its forms, aware of and responsive to contemporary ecological and climate issues;
- witness to the Gospel values and reflect the Benedictine motto "Ora et Labora." in everyday living and in their relationships with all people; and
- orient themself towards a vision of continuous personal growth and blossoming as a Scholastican dedicated to creating a fulfilling life for themself, their family, and society
